“The Us wrkfrce has gradually changed t ffice-based wrk because f the rise f the prfessinal service ecnmy and prductivity gains assciated with infrmatin technlgy,” Rsemary Haefner, Vice President f Human Resurces at Career Builder, said in a statement.
“But sme f the healthiest areas f jb grwth year after year are in middle-skill prfessins that dn’t require wrkers t sit in frnt f cmputer mnitrs and phnes fr 40 hurs a week.”
Here are the tp-paid jbs that dn t require yu t wrk at a desk f varius kinds, nne f which require a tur-year cllege degree. And their hurly salary and grwth rate are as fllws since 2010: prfessinal assistants: $26.57, 14 percent; elevatr repairers: $37.81, 6 percent; mechanical engineering technicians: $25. 19, 10 percent; electrmechanical technicians: $24.68.8 percent.
While they tend t pay less than traditinal ffice jbs, nn-desk prfessins prvide a variety f benefits. Haefner pinted t a 2014 CareerBuilder survey that discvered emplyees wh dn’t wrk at a desk all day were less likely t cmplain abut their wrk envirnment and mre dedicated t their wrk.

When Harrisn samples ice cream.
