Tw years ag, my 11-year-ld sn sat me dwn fr a talk. “Mm, it’s time,” he said. “Hear me ut: It’s time we gt actual TV. And yu need an iPhne.”
This funny cnversatin tw years ag marked a shift in ur relatinship. Perhaps fr the first time, I began t really listen t my sn’s pinin abut ur hme technlgy. Since his reasning was sund and his suggestins within budget, I tk his advice and was pleasantly surprised with the results.

He’s taking it seriusly, and t watch him mature in this way is an hnr. As smene wh’s nt much f a reader, he nw searches instructin manuals. Withut any prmpting, he’s even emailed and called, yes, made an actual phne call t custmer service r tech supprt when sample prducts weren’t wrking as expected.
