But when my relatinship and career tk a hit a year ag at the same time, things had t change. I was facing serius questins abut my wn nature, and I wanted t knw that he had faced them, t. I needed t knw hw he had fund his way, because I felt like I had lst mine.
In a severe mment f desperatin, it ccurred t me that sending an email might be the key. An email can be crafted(精心制作)slwly and carefully. I culd speak at a cmfrtable distance and give him rm t adjust. He’d be up in his ffice—a cmfrtable place filled with bkshelves, dusty CD-ROMs and piles f ld newspapers. I’d be at my desk in an apartment 20 minutes away.
S I wrte t him. I tld him abut my regrets and fears, and I asked him t answer, if he felt like it, and t share smething abut himself, smething that wuld give me much-needed perspective n my life, especially n relatinship and career.

Tw mnths t save my girl’s life
