一、教学设计与说明
教学目标
本课为本单元的第一课时,核心目标为引导学生理解语篇的结构和内容,理解和判断语篇的写作目的、作者的观点、意向;体会和学习志愿者精神,如博爱、互助、责任感。
设计思路
本课时为本单元的第一课时,在课堂一开始,首先通过图片和提问激活学生对于志愿者活动已有的知识储备和词汇储备。本文有一定量有关志愿者活动主题的生词,例如campaign,cnservatin,shelter,march,threat 等,可能会对学生理解文意造成障碍,因此通过创设一个志愿者博客的情境,让学生在博客中寻找近义词,扫除词义障碍。接下来通过提问和填表格的相关练习,让学生对文章进行略读和扫读,从而明确本文的大意、写作目的、各个志愿者的相关故事细节,再通过引导性的问题,帮助学生理解一些相对有深度的句子内涵,例如本文标题的双层含义、文章第一段的引言以及文章最后一段作者的观点,进而对文章产生更深刻的理解。
重点难点
理解文章标题的双层含义;理解文章中比较有深意的引言及观点。
