    ① Fster cperatin and ral cmmunicatin skills thrugh grup discussins and rle-playing activities.
    ② Guide students t guess wrd meanings frm cntext and imprve vcabulary learning strategies.
    3. Emtinal, Attitudinal, and Values:
    ① Cultivate a scientific attitude twards explring the truth and nt blindly believing rumrs r hearsay.
    ② Encurage students t respect thers and refrain frm spreading uncnfirmed infrmatin.
    Il. Teaching Fcus
    ① Grasping key vcabulary and phrases in the text, such as "ghst," "suddenly," "reply," "as usual," "strange," "turn arund," etc.
    ② Understanding and prficiently using key sentence structures frm the text, like "They turned arund and saw nthing." "Suddenly, they heard a whisper frm the bushes." etc.
    III. Teaching Difficulties
    ① Cmprehending and accurately applying cmplex sentence structures in the text, such as attributive clauses and bject clauses.
    ② Being able t creatively express based n the text cntent, cmbining persnal experiences.
    IV. Teaching Prcess
    Step 1: Intrductin
    1. Shw pictures r shrt vides related t parks and ghst stries t spark students' interest.
    2. Ask students if they have heard f any ghst stries and share sme f their wn experiences r hearsay.
    Step 2: Text Reading
    1. Guide students t skim the text t grasp the general idea.
    2. Explain the new vcabulary, phrases, and sentence structures in the text sectin by sectin.
    3. Play the audi recrding f the text and ask students t fllw alng, paying attentin t prnunciatin and intnatin.
    Step 3: Language Knwledge Applicatin
    1. Vcabulary practice: Cnslidate
    students' grasp f key vcabulary and phrases thrugh fill-in-the-blanks, chices, and matching activities.
    2. Sentence transfrmatin: Prvide sentences frm the text and challenge students t express the same meaning in different ways.
    3. Oral expressin: Divide students int grups and ask them t imagine being the prtagnist in the stry and describe the experience.
    Step 4: Extensin and Applicatin
    1. Rle-play: Have students frm grups and chse rles t recreate scenaris frm the text.
    2. Writing practice: Assign students t write a shrt essay abut a similar event based n their wn life experiences.
    Step 5: Summary and Feedback
    1. Summarize the cntent learned in this class, emphasizing the usage f key vcabulary and sentence structures.
    2. Assign hmewrk: Ask students t memrize the text and prepare fr retelling and discussin in the next class.

    Suddenly, they heard a whisper frm the bushes.
    VI. Teaching Reflectin
    Thrugh diversified teaching activities, students' interest in learning was effectively stimulated, and their language applicatin abilities were imprved. There was ntable prgress in students' mastery f vcabulary and sentence structures. They als demnstrated gd creativity and expressive abilities in ral and written expressins.
    Hwever, sme students still struggled with understanding and applying cmplex sentence structures. Future teaching shuld strengthen training in this aspect. Additinally, it wuld be beneficial t further expand the cntent f the text and cnduct mre extensin activities based n students' real-life experiences t enhance their cmprehensive language applicatin abilities.
