Accrding t Americans fr the Arts, mre than tw-thirds f U.S. adults say that the arts “lift me up beynd everyday experiences.” Still, nly 30 percent attended a cncert f any type in 2017; 23 percent visited an art museum; six percent attended a literary event. Fewer than half actively created art f any kind.
What has caused this phenmenn is that we d nt have time fr art — we are weighed dwn by ur day-t-day respnsibilities. Maybe yu like t play a little backgrund music while yu wrk but mst f us rarely, if ever, went t see a live perfrmance, let alne visited a gallery. And reading petry? Perhaps nt since high schl.

As such, it prbably gets the same srt f treatment as any minr hbby. Dn’t make this errr. Treat art mre like exercise r sleep: a necessity fr a life full f deep satisfactin.
    12. What des paragraph 1 fcus n?
    A. The pinin f U.S. adults abut art.
    B. The types f art that U.S. adults engage with.
    C. The mismatch between value and behaviur as t art.
    D. The cnnectin between everyday experiences and art.
    13. What is a mistaken idea in the authr’s pinin?
    A. Art reveals the nature f life.B. Art gives way t material pursuits.
    C. Life withut art is meaningless.D. Backgrund music is a kind f art.
    14. What des the authr want t cnvey in paragraph 5?
    A. Art awakes peple’s talents.B. Art imprves physical health.
    C. Art brings us clser t nature.D. Art makes life fuller and happier.
    15. What might be the best title?
    A. Art: A Habit, Nt a LuxuryB. Art: A Bridge, Nt a Barrier
