There are tw factrs which determine an individual's intelligence. The first is the srt f brain he is brn with. Human brains differ cnsiderably, sme being mre capable than thers. But n matter hw gd a brain he has t begin with, an individual will have a lw rder f intelligence unless he has pprtunities t learn. S the secnd factr is what happens t the individual—the srt f envirnment in which he is reared (培养). Mark's I.Q. was 125, twenty-five pints higher than the average and fully frty pints higher than his identical brther.
    1.答案:A
根据第二部分“General Admissin: Adults, $25; senirs (65 and lder), $17; students,$12; and children under 12, free.”
根据最后一段“Fr infrmatin abut accessibility and services fr visitrs with disabilities, cntact accesss@metmuseum. rg r call 212-650-2010, r visit metmuseum.rg/access.”
根据第一段“Rsie, a first-year university student in Beijing, entered a classrm fr her ral English exam and handed her tpic acrss the table t Je, a freign teacher. “In middle schl, my classmates laughed at me fr having deaf-mute (聋哑) parents,” she began sftly. “Frm that mment n, I decided nt t tell anybdy. 5.
根据划线单词后一句“in English class, he is mre pen.(在英语课上,他更开放)”可知,当说汉语时,他有点害羞。
根据第三段和第四段内容,并结合第四段中“Anther reasn why Chinese students are mre cmfrtable sharing their secrets during English class maybe the distinct apprach t teaching used by their freign teachers.

根据第一段“Limiting kids' recreatinal(消遣) screen time t less than tw hurs a day, alng with enugh sleep and physical activity, is assciated with imprved cgnitin(认知), accrding t a study published in The Lancet Child & Adlescent Health.”
本文主要建议父母要把孩子的屏幕消遣时间限制在2小时之内、保证孩子有足够的睡眠和锻炼,第三段最后一句“Thse wh met all three had the mst "superir" glbal cgnitin, ….”

根据最后一句“Besides, parents shuld als make sure t encurage physical activity and have bedrm rules such as creating "tech-free znes".”
    12.答案:A
故选A。

Mark's I.Q. was 125, twenty-five pints higher than the average(马克的智商是125,比平均水平高出25分,比他的同卵兄弟整整高出40分)可知,平均智商是125-25=100。故选D。
Given equal pprtunities, the twins, having identical brains, wuld have tested at rughly the same level.(如果机会均等,这对拥有相同大脑的双胞胎的测试结果会大致相同)可推知,彼得比马克的测试结果低是因为彼得缺少机会。
    15.答案:A
Mark was reared in the hme f well-t-d parents wh had been t cllege. He was read t as a child, sent t gd schls, and given every pprtunity t be stimulated intellectually.(马克是在上过大学的富裕家庭中长大的。 故选A。

解析:①根据上文“Frtunately, yu can take actin t prtect yurself and yur family frm the infectin.”(幸运的是,你可以采取行动保护自己和家人免受感染。) Here are sme simple things that can help yu stay well.(这里有一些简单的事情可以帮助你保持健康。)
②根据上文“Since COVID-19 is a respiratry(呼吸) infectin, cughing and sneezing are cmmn symptms(症状).”(由于COVID-19是一种呼吸道感染,咳嗽和打喷嚏是常见的症状。) 以及下文“Keep yur distance frm peple wh appear t have such symptms.”(与出现这些症状的人保持距离。) Additinally, cughing and sneezing bth send the virus int the air.(此外,咳嗽和打喷嚏都会将病毒传播到空气中。)
Then wash yur hands clean under warm running water.(然后在温暖的自来水下洗手。)
④根据下文“When this happens, the virus can stay n yur hands, s yu can easily infect yurself if yu tuch yur face with dirty hands.”(当这种情况发生时,病毒会停留在你的手上,所以如果你用脏手触摸你的脸,你很容易感染自己。) Yu may tuch crnavirus n a surface like a dr handle.(你可能会在门把手等表面接触到冠状病毒。)
⑤根据上文“Avid tuching yur eyes, nse, and muth in case the virus is n yur skin.”(避免触摸眼睛、鼻子和嘴巴,以防病毒在你的皮肤上。) Dn’t shake hands with peple, whether they shw symptms r nt.(不要和人握手,不管他们是否有症状。)

    37.答案:①an②until③himself④phtgrapher⑤n⑥t assist⑦infrmd⑧where⑨was accused⑩deliberately
故填an。
故填where。
    38.答案:
    Dear Jack,
I am extremely happy t knw yu are cming t ur schl next semester as exchange student. I even can’t wait t meet yu.

所以要把the改为an。
固定句式When it cmes t…
所以要把is改为are。
