Adjectives (adj): 形容词，就是用来修饰或描述名词或代词，表示人或事物的性质、状态和特征的词。形容词有三个等级：原级用于描述单个人或事物；比较级用于两者的人或物的比较；最高级用于三者或以上的人或物的比较。
Tim is than Sam.
Tim's grandpa is than Sam's.
Tim's father's shes are than Sam's father's.
The purple dress is than the yellw ne.

原级变为比较级，通常er加后面；若是结尾辅元辅，末尾双写要牢记；辅音加y结尾时，把y变i加-er；原级若以e结尾，直接加-r就可以；最后别忘多音节前要加mre！
形容词比较级构成的变化规律(规则变化)
形容词比较级（最高级）构成的不规则变化，如：gd / well - better (- best)bad - wrse (- wrst)ld - lder / elder (- ldest / eldest)many / much - mre (- mst)little - less (- least)far - farther / further (- farthest / furthest)

形容词比较等级的用法（高频考点）：一、见到than用比较级；二、见到r，两者用比较级；三、三者或以上用最高级，最高级前要加the。四、关于比较大小：比较年龄大小，用yunger或lder；比较物体大小，用bigger或者smaller。
