    When I had behaviral issues in elementary schl my teachers wuld punish me by sending me t my guidance cunselr, Dr. Debrah Hawes, t d math and science prjects. I wuld disrupt(扰乱) the class n purpse, knwing that I wuld be sent t her ffice fr guidance. Dr. Hawes was enthusiastic abut science and math. Her gal was t help every student realize the imprtance f these subjects, and hw they relate t everyday living. As a result, she was able t persuade me t take part in science fair prject cmpetitins.
    Surprisingly, I did pretty well at thse cmpetitins and received many awards thrugh ut the city at larger cmpetitins. It was after the 8th grade that Dr. Hawes encuraged me t attend the Chicag High Schl fr Agricultural Sciences (CHSAS). This by far, is ne f the best decisins I have ever made in my life.
    My time spent at CHSAS was what develped my strng interest in animal science and cnservatin (保护). It als inspired me t cntinue my educatin at Delaware State University (DSU), where I was awarded a partial schlarship. Then, I cmpleted a Bachelr f Science degree in Animal Science at DSU in 2004, with internships (实习) at Purdue University, Michigan State University, and the University f Namibia in Africa. In 2008, I earned a Master f Science degree frm Iwa State University while cnducting research n turtle nests. In 2009, I became the Savanna District’s first-ever wildlife bilgist.
