    It was a nrmal day in Altitude, a twn high in the muntains. Peple were ging abut their daily rutines, nt knwing the disaster that was sn t cme. Suddenly, the grund under their feet began t shake.     The streets were messy. Traffic lights were ut, cars were verturned, and peple were running in fear. Alice knew she had t get t higher grund. She headed fr the nearest hill, jining a grup f ther peple. As they reached the tp, the full frce f the earthquake hit, but Alice and the thers managed t stay n tp f the hill.
    After what seemed like a century, the earthquake finally stpped. Alice lked dwn at the twn she had called hme. It was in ruins. Huses were destryed, rads were cracked pen, and a large crack had frmed in the middle f the twn square.
    Alice knew she had t help. She jined hands with ther survivrs and they began the rescue effrt. With simple tls and their bare hands, they dug thrugh the stnes and bricks t find anyne wh might be trapped inside. In the fllwing days, Alice and the ther survivrs wrked tirelessly t help, prviding fd, water, and medical aid t thse in need. With the help f rescue teams and vlunteers frm arund the cuntry, they slwly but surely began t rebuild their twn.
