    take ut意为“带出去”,是“动词+副词”型短语。后跟名词作宾语时放在take ut 之间或后面都可以,后跟代词作宾语时,只能放在take与ut之间。take ut还有“取出,拿出”之意。

    dish n.盘;碟。其复数形式为 dishes。作名词时也可以指“一道菜”。d the dishes/wash the dishes清洗餐具。

    3. sweep the flr (教材P17 1a)
    sweep意为“打扫”;flr意为“地板”。flr n.还可意为“楼层”。
    eg:D yu ften sweep the flr? 你经常扫地吗? They live n the first flr. 他们住在一楼。
    【注意】 (1)美国和中国的1到3楼层表达分别是:the first flr,the secnd flr,the third flr;而英国的表达是:the grund flr,the first flr,the secnd flr,以此类推。 (2)一幢楼有几层,用基数词;住在第几层用序数词。
    eg:There are ten flrs in the building.I live n the fifth flr. 这座楼有十层。我住在第五层。

    make ne’s bed 意为“整理床铺”,相当于 make the bed。
    eg:D yu make yur bed after yu get up?你起床后整理床铺吗?
    【注意】 make a bed意为“制作床”,其中 make 作 “制造;制作”解。
    eg:His uncle made a bed fr him last week. 他叔叔上星期给他做了一张床。
    5. I’m ging t wrk n it nw. (教材P18 2c)
    wrk n是一个动词短语,n 为介词,表示从事某项工作,做某项工作/研究,创作作品、作画、开机器等。
    eg:He is wrking n a cmputer. 他正在操作电脑。
    【拓展】wrk hard n/at意为“(在……方面)努力学习,努力干”。 at wrk 意为“在工作,在运转”,常作表语,同be动词连用。
    eg:She wrks hard at the new jb.她努力干那项新工作。 Her mther is at wrk nw.她母亲现在在上班。 The machine is still at wrk.那台机器仍在运转。
    6. Culd I at least finish watching this shw? (教材P18 2d)
    finish的基本意思是“结束,完成”,表明已达到所做事情的终点。引申可表示“用光,吃光”“毕业”“杀掉”等。finish可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时可接名词、代词或动名词作宾语,不能接动词不定式。
    eg:Yu can’t g anywhere until yu have finished yur hmewrk. 没完成家庭作业前你哪儿都不能去。 He finished reading the bk befre supper. 晚饭前他把这本书看完了。
    跟finish一样,在与动词连用时,只能接动名词形式作宾语,不能接动词不定式的常见动词及短语有:
    喜欢(enjy)错过(miss)别介意(mind),完成(finish)愉快(have fun)勤练习(practice),忙得(be busy)禁不住(can't help)想放弃(give up)。
