The biggest risk I’ve ever taken was quitting my jb and biking alne acrss western China. When I determined t d it, little did I knw this wuld turn int the greatest experience f my life.
I have lived in China fr six years, I felt like I hadn’t really seen much f the cuntry, thugh. S I decided t g n a 3-mnth jurney t discver mre. I had never biked fr mre than tw hurs in ne day befre. It was a huge physical challenge but I gt strnger every day, and eventually, I culd easily bike fr eight hurs each day.
One f the best parts f the whle experience was peple. One time I met a crwd f Chinese men wh were traveling by mtrcycle. They invited me t stay with them in the muntains in Yunnan. We cked fish that we caught in the lake ver a fire, which made me feel true freedm frm the busy life. What impressed me mst was when I met a grup f cyclists. They were in their 60s and 70s and still cycling better than I was. It really inspired me t push myself and g farther every day.
Mstly each day, I was alne with nature, enjying sme f the mst amazing scenery in the wrld. It simply tk my breath away.
