This is the first perid f unit10. It is talking abut sme fairy tales and Aesp’s Fables writing by Andersen, Grimm brthers and Aesp. The pupils have learnt this knwledge in last tw lessns. In this perid, the students will learn hw t write the main idea abut their favrite stries.

There are 55 Ss in class4. They have different fundatin, but they are all liking reading the Fairy tales and Aesp Fables. The students have cntacted with the knwledge in perid 1 and 2. S fr the students, it’s nt hard fr them t learn. But the teacher shuld give them sme necessary help.

1. Lk and learn
1). Shwing sme pictures abut stry bks. Let the students t say the name f them. And then shw the writer f them.

S1: Yes, I did. It’s Andersen’s Fairy Tales. …
T: (shw sme pictures f the writers) D yu knw wh wrte these bks? These are the writers. Wh is he?
S2: He’s Andersen.
Let the pupils try t match the pictures and bks.
2). The teacher says ut the answer and try t teach the name f the bks and the writers.
3). Talk abut the stries.
T: Here are sme stries. Did yu read any f the stries befre?
S1: Yes. I read “Snw White”.
S2: I knw “Cinderella”.
T: D yu knw wh wrte these stries?

T: Tday we’re ging t find ut wh wrte these stries.
4).Turn n the cmputer, and let the pupils watch and listen, knw the general idea.
2. Divide the pupils int three grups, and read the text, then try t share their infrmatin. And let them cmplete the exercises n p63.
3. When they are finishing their wrk in grups, I’ll let the team leaders shw ut their result.
