| Step1 Warm up 1.Revision T: What did you do yesterday? S1: I finished my homework yesterday. T: What did you do yesterday? Ss: He finished his homework yesterday. 2.Free-talk T: Do you like reading stories? Ss: Yes! T: What kind of story do you like? Ss: fairy tales…… T:Very good!You are all good children. Step 2 Lead-in T: Now,I have something to show you. Look at here. What’s this? Ss: It’s a paintbrush. (Teach ”paintbrush”) T: Yes,It’s a magic paintbrush. (Teach ”magic”) T: What is a magic paintbrush? Now I am drawing something on the blackboard. Please look at the blackboard carefully. What’ this? It’s a hat, right? Wow, look at that girl, she wears a hat that I drew just now. It’s so magic! (神笔的定义:画什么,就有什么) Now, who want to try? Try to draw something on the blackboard with the magic paintbrush. Let’s expect what will happen. (学生画个苹果,然后让学生闭上眼睛,倒数3声后,一个真的苹果便呈现在他们的面前,以此活跃气氛,激活思维,增加学生的学习兴趣。随后,操练“It’s a magic paintbrush.”) T: Today, we are going to learn an English story about “the magic paintbrush” (导入课题) Module 6 Unit 1 It didn’t make gold. Step3 Presentation ⑴、学习新单词 T: First, let’s learn the new words: gold、food、took-take 、made-make (以开火车的方式进行单词的操练、拼写。) ⑵、句型操练(依据导入中所举的例子:hat、apple) 句型: didn’t have . So painted with the magic paintbrush. ①I didn't have a hat. So I painted a hat with the magic paintbrush. ②She didn't have apples. So she painted an apple with the magic paintbrush. ⑶、了解课文大意 T: Now, listen to the tape two times, then, answer my questions. Questions:How many people are there in the story? Who are they? Ss: There are three people in the story. They are Ma Liang, an old woman and a bad man. ⑷、分析人物特点 T: Now, open your books. You should find some adjectives to describe the characters. (找出能恰当地形容这三个主要人物特点的词,并尝试用完整的句子来叙述。) ①What do you think of Ma Liang? He was a good boy. ②What was the old woman like? She was hungry. ③What was the man like? He was bad. 学生分小组讨论找出答案,并展示。 ⑸、梳理故事情节 T: Now, let’s retell the story. 教师将关键词连接成一个故事结构图。 ⑹、学生根据给出的故事结构图复述故事,以小组为单位进行讨论并展示。 Step4 Practice 逐句跟录音朗读,圈出文中所有动词过去式。 游戏: ①“猜猜看”(运用写有本文动词过去式的卡片进行,动词原形与过去时互猜) ②“找朋友”(动词原形与过去式搭配) 巩固本文中呈现的动词过去式及其原形: is—was; help—helped;have—had: paint —painted; take—took; make—made Step5 Summary 德育教育: T: What could we learn from the story? Ss: …… T:Ma Liang was kind-hearted. We should learn from him to be a good person. And he also was a diligent person, right?He loved painting,and practiced everyday, in the end he became an excellent painter. So everyone should work hard for your dream. T: If you’re MaLiang, you have a paintbrush, what will you do with the magic paintbrush? S: …… Step 3 Presentation ㈠Listen to the tape. What happened then? Let’s listen to the tape. 1、angry T: The bad man took the magic paintbrush. He paint gold, but it made a snake. Look at the picture, is he feel happy? (出示angry的图片) S: No. He was not happy. T: Yes, he was angry. (做出生气的样子。读angry,学生模仿老师做的动作读单词。) 看表情对比happy 和angry T: Look at my face, say the words as quickly as you can. S: 根据老师的表情,快速说单词。 2、only T: Why did the bad man feel angry? S: The magic paintbrush didn’t help him. T: Did the magic paintbrush help MaLiang? S: Yes, it did. T: The magic paintbrush only helped MaLing. 3、took away T: And then, what did the ban man do ? S: He took MaLiang away. T: 出示卡片,took away, 并领读,做动作演示,让学生体会意思。 板书句子:He took MaLiang away. 指导学生读读句子。 4、said Game: I say a word or sentence you must say:“ You said, ……”. T: 老师小声说I say “angry”. S: You said “angry”. T: 老师小声说 I say “only”. S: You said “only”. T: 老师大声说 I say “took away”. S: You said “took away”. T: 老师大声说I say “He took MaLiang away.” S: You said “He took MaLiang away”. 游戏结束时,出示: say—said 5、He didn’t come back. T: The bad man got the ship, he went to the sea in his ship. Did he come back? S: No. He didn’t come back. 老师板书句子。He didn’t come back. ㈡ Listen and repeat. 1、Now, Listen and repeat the whole story. 2、Read it to your partner. ㈢ Look at the pictures and talk about the story with your partner. ㈣ listen and complete the passage. The bad man was_______. The magic paintbrush _______help him. It______ helped MaLing. He ______MaLiang _______. “I want a ship,” _______the bad man. “You paint it!” So MaLiang ________ the ship. Then the ship was real. The bad man ______ to the sea in his ship. But he didn’t ______ ______. Step4 Practise Point and say. (36.3) This old woman didn’t have food. So Ma Liang painted food.
