    accept 常表示主观上的接受;receive多用于客观上的收到。

      [及物动词]影响;作用于

          be influenced by  的影响

          influence sb. to do sth. 影响某人做某事

            Don't let her influence your decision. 不用让她影响你的决定。

            Is there anything that can influence you to do that? 有什么东西能影响你做那个事情吗?

        [名词] 影响

         have an influence on sb/sth.  对某人/某事有影响。

            The story has an influence on you. 这个故事对你有影响。

    (2) make sense  易理解;合情理;有意义

    make a lot of sense to sb.  某人来说很有意义。

            This reason doesn't make sense. 这个原因不合情理。

    【拓展】way相关的常见词组

    by the way “顺便说一下常放在句首做状语。

    in the way “妨碍;挡道

    on the way “在路上,在途中,后面用介词to 接地点名词,若目的地是副词,则不用介词to

            I met an old friend on the/my way home yesterday. 昨天在我回家路上遇到个老朋友。

    (1) suppose [动词]“猜想,推测;相信,认为

       suppose+(that) 从句   猜测;认为…”

            I suppose (that) he's right. 我认为他是对的。

       be supposed to do sth. “应当做某事

            You are supposed to study hard during the last year of middle school.

    中学最后一年里你们应该努力学习。

       suppose 可用于简略答语中。I suppose so. 我认为如此。I suppose not. 我认为不这样。

    (2) as…as “一样

    其中第一个as为副词,后面接形容词或副词的原形第二个as为连词

            The book is as good as yours. 这本书和你那本书一样好。

    not as…as…“不如;不及…”,否定句里,第一个as可以换成soso的语气强些。

            Its not as/so cold as yesterday.今天没有昨天冷。

            Its not as hard as I thought.这没有我想象的那么困难。

    (3)  well-known  [形容词]“著名的,众所周知的[同义词]famous。可做定语和表语。

    常考词组be famous/well-known for...“……而著名

    be famous/well-known as...“作为(某个身份、职业)而著名

            China is famous/well-known for the Great Wall.中国因长城而著名。

            Yao Ming is famous/well-known as a basketball player.姚明作为篮球运动员而出名。

    4and or表示并列时的区别and用于肯定句,or通常用于否定句,两词均表示和,与之意。

            Sue and I left early. 和休早离开了。

            He can't read or write. 他不会读,不会写。

    1为什么不做某事?句型表达:

    Why dont sb +动原+其他?=Why not++动原+其他?

    2joinjoin intake part in

    join “参加,加入,一般指加入组织或团体,成为其中一员,这个群体可以是固定的,如党派、俱乐部,也可以是临时的,如辩论队等。

    join in“加入,参加take part in “参加,用法相似,均指参加活动或比赛等,很多时候可以互换。take part in 更强调主语参加该活动并在其中发挥重要作用。

            He joined the army at the age of 18. 他十八岁参军。

            Lets join in the discussion.让我们加入讨论吧。

            Most of my classmates took part in the school sports meeting last year.
