一、 教学内容:Unit1 I’m looking for the photos that you took in Australia
二、 课型:Listening and speaking
三、 教学目标:
1、能够正确使用下列单词和词组: crocodile, shark, hand, have a look at, alongside,
2、能够初步了解that引导的限定性定语从句。
3、能够听懂有关介绍澳大利亚的对话;能够询问他人的旅游经历。
4、能够用本单元学到的词汇、短语、句型介绍参观过的某个地点。
5、了解不同国家的风景,自然与文化,同时能够介绍中国的文化景点,增强民族意识;培养学生对自然和生活的热爱之情。
四、 教学重难点:
1、能够掌握本单元重点单词和固定表达
2、能够用本单元学到的词汇、短语、句型介绍参观过的某个地点。
五、 教学准备:
1.利用PowerPoint制作课件,搜集有关澳大利亚的图片。
2.布置学生预习单词。
3.布置学生至少带一张关于自己旅游的照片。

(2) Guide the students to listen to the conversation in Activity 3, then choose the best answer: ① Which country is Tony going to write about? A.Canada B.Australia C.Sydney ② What’s Uluru? A.A country B.A mountain C.A huge rock ③How many animals does the conversation mention? A.Two B.Three C.Four Task 2: Reading (1)Let the students read the conversation in Activity 3 by themselves, and answer the questions in Activity 5. ①Why does Tony want his dad’s photos of Australia? ②What does Tony think of the photos? ③Why does Tony want to borrow the camera? ④Does Tony’s dad lend him the camera at once?
(2)Let the students read the conversation in pairs, complete the table in Activity 4. Then ask them to check the answers in pairs.
(3) Let the students act out the dialogue( The girls ---- Tony, The boys ----Tony’s dad), and find out some difficulties.
Task 3: Solve the language points (1) Organize students to come to the blackboard and show out some difficult language points that they found.

1.Do some speaking (1)Get the Ss to retell the conversation with the information in the table in Activity 4. (2)Give the students several minutes to talk about their own experience of tour. The content includes: ①What is it called? ②Where is it? ③What are the special details ? (3)Ask some of them to speak in front of the class while they are showing the pictures they brought. (4)To comment on their speaking. |

(2)Prepare the words to describe their tour
