三、难点句型解析。

1.What time is it now? 现在几点了？

It’s 5 o’clock. 五点了。

【解析】询问时间的句型及其答语

“What time is it?”意为“几点了？”是由what time引导的特殊疑问句，用于询问具体的时间，it指代时间。

o’clock是of the clock的缩写形式，用于表示整点数。

在现代英语中，o’clock只用于整点，没有复数形式，表示几点几分时不用它，有时也可以省略不用。

例句：It’s eight o’clock now. 

      现在是八点钟。

时间的表达法

2.It’s time for dinner. 吃晚饭的时间到了。

【解析】句型结构：It’s time for+名词/名词短语.

该句型表示“到……的时间了”。

其中it代表的是时间，it’s可以省略，构成“Time for+名词”的结构。

例句：It’s time for homework. = Time for homework.

     做作业的时间到了。

3.It’s time to get up. 起床的时间到了。

【解析】句型结构：It’s time to+动词短语.

“到做某事的时间了。”此句型和我们前面学过的 “Time to+ 动词短语.”可以相互转换。

例句：到上学的时间了。

Time to go to school. = It’s time to go to school.

辨析It’s time for...和 It’s time to ...

两者都表示“到……的时间了”，不同的是for后面接名词或名词短语，to后接动词原形。

例句：上英语课的时间到了。

It’s time for English class.  It’s time to have English class.
