【教学过程】一、导入环节（2分钟）

（一）导入新课，板书课题

导入语：Good morning, class. How are you? Today, we are going to learn：

（二）出示学习目标　过渡语:First ,let’s read the learning goals together.

探究三：Language Points 

1.feel afraid to... 害怕……  feel afraid to do sth.可以和 be afraid to do sth.互换使用。

He feels /is afraid to fly in a plane.    他害怕坐飞机。

2.dream of doing sth.表示“梦想做某事”。dream of 可以和dream about互换，其后可以接名词、代词或动名词。I dreamed about/of my teacher last night. 昨晚我梦到我的老师了。

3.teach oneself意为“自学”,相当于learn…by oneself。

The girl taught herself English.=The girl learned English by herself.那个女孩自学了英语。

4.believe in oneself 相信自己 We should believe in ourselves. 我们应该相信自己。

believe in 的用法：(1) 信仰(宗教或神等) He believes in God.他信奉上帝。

(2) 相信…的存在 Do you believe in ghosts? 你相信有鬼吗？(3)信任；信赖Nobody believes in him.没有人信任他

辨析believe sb.和believe in sb.

(1)believe sb. 相信某人(所说的话是真的) (2)believe in sb.信任某人

I believe him，but I can't believe in him.我相信他的话是真的，但我不能信任他。

5.【辨析】　noise,sound,voice

(1)noise指较大的声音,噪音;(2)sound 可以指任何声音;(3)voice 指人的嗓音。

There was too much noise in the house.屋子里太吵了。

She went and turned the sound down.她走过去把音量调小了。

She said to me in a low voice.她低声跟我说话。

6.辨析beat 和win  (1)beat及物动词，“赢、战胜” 充当beat的宾语的是竞争的对手，即指人或组织的名词或代词。We played very well，and we beat them.我们发挥得很好，打败了他们。(2)win              及物动词，“赢得获得”              充当win的宾语的是比赛、战争、奖品等名词，即race，match，game，competition，war，prize等。              He won the first prize in the surfing competition.他在冲浪比赛中获得一等奖。
