Unit 3 Language in use 1

一、教学目标

1. 巩固本模块语法要点——“寻求建议和给出建议”的句型。

2. 能听懂有关学英语过程中遇到的问题。

3. 能谈论英语学习中的困难并提供建议。

4. 理解西方人如何提出建议；对照自己生活中的相关经历，学会恰当地征求和提出建议。

二、教学重点及难点

重点：熟练掌握有关表达建议的句型结构。

难点：正确熟练地运用所学句型进行情景交际。

三、教学准备

1. 多媒体设备和课件；

2. 设计课后巩固练习；

3. 教学图片。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up

Talk about the pictures according to the expressions.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Read the sentences and pay attention to the red words.

2. Learn the grammar points.

Step 3 Practice

Activity 1~2

1. Listen and check the expressions of advice.

2. Listen again and answer the questions.

Activity 3~4

1. Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and say what Jack usually does.

2. Think about the question: Do you think Jack’s habits are good? And then complete the table.

【设计意图】通过描述杰克学习生活的6个不同场景，判断习惯的好坏，再鼓励学生大胆参与讨论，表达各自的看法，巩固学生对表达建议的语句的运用。
