Lesson 2　Jenny's House

1．复习巩固并能够正确听、说、读、写：living room，kitchen，bathroom，toilet，bedroom，study。

2．能够正确听、说、认、读句子：There is a living room…on the first floor.和用它来描述房间的具体位置，并熟练运用there be句型进行某地有某物的描述，巩固复习用句型This is…向他人介绍自己的家。

3．能够听懂和表达Part 1中的内容，并能根据Part 1中的对话内容，回答Part 2中的相应问题，能够在真实场景中运用本课所学语言进行交流。

4．通过对出国学生寄宿家庭的家居生活介绍，引导学生关注中西方家居生活的差异，培养学生的跨文化意识。

5．在符合实际生活的对话交流中使学生养成用英语交流的习惯，并培养学生良好的语音、语调和语感。

重点

学生能够正确运用英语表述家中的各个房间，并描述其位置。

难点

掌握个别长难句There is a living room，a kitchen，and a bathroom on the first floor.并在实际运用中体会there be句型的就近原则。

Step 1　Warming up

Greeting：T：Hello，boys and girls.

Free talk：T：This is my house.I like my house.(guess the meaning by looking a picture).What about you?

【设计意图】让学生首先感知课题，以便更好地了解和接受新知识。

Step 2　Presentation

看图，借助图画学习新单词。(living room，study，kitchen)

Learn the new words：(Look at the picture)

1．living room.

T：Look at my home.What is in it?

S：Living room.

T：Yes.This is a living room.

Follow me：living room，living room.

2．study

T：Is this a living room?

S：No.

T：Oh，sorry.I go the wrong way.What is this?

S：Study.

T：Yes，this is a study.

Follow me：study，study.

3．Kitchen/Bedroom/Bathroom

T：Look at the picture.What is this?

S：Kitchen.

T：Yes，this is a kitchen.

Follow me：kitchen，kitchen.

【设计意图】根据孩子好奇心和求知欲的心性，用图片调动孩子学习的积极性，同时视觉效果能让孩子积极去思考和加深记忆。

Step 3　Practice

1．听录音跟读，指导和纠正学生的发音。

b．Speak in English，you speak in Chinese.

c．Draw your home and write down the name.

【设计意图】通过这个游戏环节来巩固单词的学习和记忆。

2．通过音乐，游戏和动作等对单词和句型进行操练。

b．Read after the tape.(指导和纠正发音，同时找个别同学站起来读，满足孩子学习的欲望)

3．Do action

【设计意图】学习英语和游戏动作相结合，使枯燥的学习变得更生动，让孩子在学中玩，玩中学。

Step 4　Consolidation and extension

1．介绍自己的家

T：(多媒体出示一张新的house图。)Look，boys and girls，this is my new house.I can see a living room，a…．I can watch TV in the living room，I can read a book in the study…．Can you introduce your home now？(多媒体出示，师示范语言，学生同桌介绍自己的家。)

S：Yes.

T：Take your pictures and introduce your home with your partner.

T：Now, who can introduce your house to the whole class?

T：Well done! Now, please walk around the class and introduce your house to your friends.(学生在教室自由走动，向朋友介绍自己的家。)

【设计意图】学生的感情升华，同时发挥孩子的想象力，培养孩子对家和生活的热爱。

2．我是小小设计师

1)要求：学生自己设计一套房子并布置各个房间，在各个房间里画上一些学过的物品，涂好颜色。学生以小组为单位用英语介绍自己设计的房子。 参考语言：Look，this is the…(房间)，go to the…(房间)…(活动)．This is…(物品)，It's…(颜色)。

2)学生独立设计。

3)小组内介绍，生生评价并评选优秀作品及介绍。

4)班内展示，教师评价鼓励。
