Key vocabulary:maybe, least...at least, eat a healthy breakfast, go to bed early, stay up late...2. Key sentences: a. --What does she do on weekends? --She sometimes goes shopping. b. --How often does he watch TV? --He hardly ever watches TV. 教学难点: Learn to use how often to ask question and the frequency words to answer. 教学过程(表格描述)教学环节主要教学活动设置意图Step 1Lead-in(PPT 3-4)Play a game. One asks and another answers.-How often do you exercise?-Once a week? every day? Ask Ss to work in pairs.Then call some pairs to present in class.设计这个游戏图文并茂,引导学生复习句型。该活动旨在为语法讲解做铺垫,激发学生语法相关知识。Step 2Presentation(PPT 5-13) 1. Ask Ss to read the sentences in Grammar Focus.2. Make them work in pairs, one asks, the other answers.3. Explain Grammar Focus.4. Ask Ss to read the sentences in this part and pay attention to W- and How- questions. 反复读语法中的句子,概括这些句子的特点并讲解W- How-构成的特殊疑问句Step 3Practice  (PPT 14-16)Work on 3a,3b.1.Call students' attention to 3a.Make Ss scan the questions and answers first, then complete the task in 3a individually.2.Choose a student to give his or her answers. 3.Check the answers.4.Practice reading in pairs.5. Pair-work: Ss work in pairs to complete the task in 3b. Write your answers on the line.  6. Check the answers and read them.本部分主要练习do/does 的用法以及what引导和how引导的特殊疑问句,通过练习使学生熟练掌握。Step 4    Group work (PPT 17-25)Work on 3c. 1.Ask Ss :What can you do to improve your English?2.Encourage Ss brainstorm the ways of learning English.3.Ask Ss add more things to the chart individually. 4.Work in groups to ask classmates the questions and find the best English student.5. Give some phrases and give a report according to the phrases.6. Make an interview and report the information.
