But I didn’t play football。 I stayed at home. What a boring day!

二、能力目标：能够运用动词过去式和didn’t的否定式描述过去发生和没有发生的事情。  

三、情感态度目标：通过活动，培养学生喜爱英语、乐于开口说英语的兴趣，并且让学生发现生活的美好，珍惜每一天的生活。

教学重点：运用didn’t描述过去没有发生的事

教学难点： 区分usually和didn't的不同含义，并正确运用

教学设计：

1. Warm up.

1. Greetings: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m your new teacher, Miss Jiang. Nice to meet you.
2. Play a game. Find the verb phrases and read them out.

(设计说明：运用希沃白板“课堂活动”功能，以有趣的方式复习学生学过的动词短语，又活跃了课堂气氛）

2. Presentation

1. Read some phrases.
2. Show a picture of Daming. Present today is Tuesday. And the day before yesterday is Sunday. What does Daming usually do on Sundays?

（设计说明：以学生熟悉的Daming引入课文，自然过渡，情景自然。）

3. New lesson.

1. Watch the video and answer: What does Daming usually do on Sundays? （设计说明：学生带着问题学习课文，让学习有目的、有针对性）
2. Do a survey: Do you remember the days in a week? Which day do you like? （设计说明：运用“蒙层”，复习一周7天。）
3. Free talk: I like Sunday. On Sundays, I usually ride my bike to the bike. And I usually play football in the park.

（设计说明：从课文内容引出重点句型，体现句不离篇的教学特点。）

4. Watch the video and read after the video. Answer 3 questions:

Did Daming ride his bike yesterday?

Did Daming play football yesterday?

What did he do?

（设计说明：问题设置层层深入，在回答中引出本课的重点句型，进行操练和运用练习。）

5. Practice:

①  new word: stay, ay[ei], day, way, may, away.

（设计说明：运用“克隆”功能，渗透自然拼读）

②  Matching game: go-went, see-saw, play-played, clean-cleaned, stay-stayed, make- made, finish- finished.

（设计说明：运用“课堂活动”中的“知识配对”，提取课文中的动词原形和过去式，再复习一些常用的动词，词不离句教学，让知识不独立。）

③  Sing a chant:

 Played, played.didn't play.

I didn't play football yesterday.

Watched, watched. didn't watch.

I didn't watch TV yesterday.

Finished, finished. didn't finish.

I didn't finish homework yesterday.

Helped, helped. didn't help.

I didn't help my mum yesterday.

（设计说明：在动感的音乐中调动课堂气氛，同时让学生通过朗读发现didn’t后接动词原形的规律，体现了以学生为主体的学习方式，遵循学生学习规律。）

④  Pair-work: Look and say.

I didn’t ride my bike yesterday. I cleaned my room.

6. Read the text together and find out: Daming didn’t play football yesterday, Do you know why? →It was raining. What a boring day!
