【第一课时】
【教学目标】
(一)语言目标
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和词组hobby, collecting stamps, collecting old photos, collecting storybooks, playing chess, playing the violin, taking photos
2.句型:能用“What's your hobby?”询问他人的兴趣爱好,用“I like …”/ “My hobby is …”表达个人的兴趣和爱好.
(二)应用目标
1.表达个人的爱好.
2.询问他人的爱好.
【教学重难点】
1.重点:能用“What's your hobby?”询问他人的兴趣爱好,用“I like …”/ “My hobby is ...”表达个人的兴趣和爱好.
2.难点:了解动名词的形式和用法.可以通过让学生用动名词说句子,引导学生观察动名词的构成,让学生初步感知动名词的用法.
【教学准备】
各种邮票、单词卡片、课文录音、课本图片、多媒体课件等.
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)
1.Greetings
2.Game: Simon says (运用学生已学过的动词,如swim, eat, sing, write, play football等)
3.T: Let's play a game—Simon says, OK? If you hear “Simon says: Swim”, please do the action of swim quickly. If you hear “Swim”, please do not do the action of swim.
4.Say a chant
5.自编chant: Swim, swim, I like swimming.
Jump, jump, I like jumping.
Play, play, I like playing football.
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.Free talk
T: Good morning, boys and girls!
Ss: Good morning, Miss Ou.
T: What day is it today?
S1: It's Tuesday.
T: Do you have maths class today?
S2: Yes, I do.
T: Do you like maths?
S2: Yes, I like maths.
T: He likes maths. What subject do you like?
学生根据实际情况回答,教师说“He/ She likes ...”在此过程中教师大量地让学生感知“He/ She likes ...”为后面的学习和练习做了铺垫.
2.导入新课,教授单词hobby, hobbies.
T: I like music.I like singing. Singing is my hobby. Today, we talk about hobbies.
板书课题,并教授hobby, hobbies.
3.教学句型“What's your hobby?”/ “I like …”/ “My Hobby is ...”
T: I have many hobbies. I like singing. What's your hobby?
S1: I like playing football.
T: He likes playing football. His hobby is playing football.
引导学生用“I like .../ My hobby is ...”表达自己的爱好.
T: Do you want to know my hobbies? Ask me, please.
S1: Miss Ou, what's your hobby?
T: I like collecting stamps.(凑近学生的耳朵悄悄告诉他)用悄悄话制造悬念,激发学生现学现用,同时引出教师的爱好——集邮,为接下来的教学创设情境.
4.学习词组collecting stamps.
(1)教学单词collect及词组collecting stamps.
教师出示很多邮票.
T: Look, what are these? They're stamps. They're very nice.
板书单词stamp并跟读.
T: I like collecting stamps.
出示集邮册stamp album,以及各种类型的邮票,如Chinese stamps, English stamps, American stamps, animal stamps, flower stamps(可利用多媒体或实物展示),加深学生对邮票的认识,同时为下一课时的教学做铺垫.
(2)板书单词collect并跟读.让学生用collect说句子.
T: I like collecting stamps. I like collecting watches ... How about you?
5.学习词汇collecting old photos, collecting storybooks, playing chess, playing the violin, taking photos.
6.学生两人一组活动,利用刚学的词汇和句型对话.
例如:S1: What's your hobby?
S2: I like .../ My hobby is ... Do you have any hobbies?
7.学习课文A部分.
第—步:Listen and answer.
听课文录音,回答下列问题.
How many people are there in the dialogue? Who are they?
Wht does Peter/ Anne/ Ungling/ Mingming like doing?
第二步:Listen and repeat.
打开课本,再听一遍录音,跟读.
第三步:Read and act.
分小组练习,然后分角色表演.
III. 趣味练习(Practice)
1.游戏:看一看,猜一猜
T: What does he like? Can you guess? Which letter do you choose?
S1: “P” . He likes playing chess.
S2: “C”. He likes collecting stamps.

把全班同学分成男女两大组比赛,通过所给图片及单词首字母,猜测单词并结合图片说句子:“He/She likes ...”比一比哪一组说得又多又正确.
2.调查同学的兴趣爱好,为课外兴趣班报名做准备.
(1)出示调查表,教师做示范.
T: Look at the form. There are so many clubs at our school. They welcome all of us to join the clubs. Now please discuss in groups and decide what club you'd like to go. I like singing. What's your hobby?

(设计说明:Do a survey这一活动的目的是培养学生运用所学英语知识的能力,采访时用第二人称交流,汇报时用第三人称单数形式表述,教师提供关键句型供学生参考.这一活动既能帮助学生有效地复习词汇和句型,又能锻炼他们的英语口头表达能力和应变能力.)

1.听录音,读课文.
2.抄写生词和短语.
3.了解家庭成员的兴趣爱好.
