Eleanor Park, a 16-year-old student in North Allegheny, the USA, set up an online magazine The Diversity Story a year ago. She’s brought different voices from the world together. People can apply to be its staff writers, be interviewed to have an article written about their lives, or submit (提交) writing and photos.
Ms. Park, who plans to study psychology in college, said she came up with the idea for the project after talking with a friend from China. “We had been exchanging English lessons for computer science classes last summer,” she said. “While we taught each other, we often talked about our daily lives. One day, a stork saw a beautiful ring. It belonged to a rabbit. The rabbit went inside his hole, leaving the ring outside. The stork decided to try it on without asking.
