Little George lived a poor life with his mother. One summer day, George' smother was ill and sent him to a field to pick up some dry plants to make fire.
George worked very hard. When the sun was high, he felt very hot and wished for a cool place to have a rest. A she walked along, he found the cool place and some fine wild strawberries. Then he picked them up.

As we all know, there are five senses(感觉): hearing, smell, seeing, taste and touch. Now, however, a scientist called Dr Rupert Sheldrake, has shown that we have a sixth sense: we are able to know whether someone is watching us.
Many people have this feeling. For example, you are sitting in a cinema, and you feel that someone is watching you. You look around quickly, and find that you are right—a friend is watching you.
Dr Rupert Sheldrake did the first experiment(实验) to prove(证明) this feeling. There were two girls, Emma and Claire. Emma sat on a chair and wore a blindfold over here yes, so she couldn't see anything Claire sat a few metres behind Emma. A teacher said a word. As a result, a child, wearing the blindfold, like Emma, could often feel that the other person was watching him or her. About 70% of the times, the children knew someone was watching them. If the children were just guessing “yes” or “no”, the result would only be 50% of the times.
To make the result more believable, Dr. Sheldrake did the second experiment. The children with the blindfold were on the playground and the others were watching them through the classroom's windows. The results were the same.
