Task
一、教学目标
1. 掌握重点词汇:square, smiling, handsome, fat, hard-working, patient, smile, unhappy, excellent, dark brown, both…and…, have a round face, smiling eyes, look really pretty and kind, have a smile on her face, work with children
2. 掌握重点句型:
Kate is both my neighbour and my best friend.
She always has a smile on her face and looks happy.
I think she will make an excellent teacher.
3. 学会通过分析语篇,梳理文章结构。
4. 熟练运用本单元所学词汇,词组和句型组织语言。
5. 利用过程性写作的过程进行写作。
6. 向别人介绍自己的好朋友,学会珍惜友情。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:1. 引导学生根据范围,梳理写作文章的框架结构。
2. 引导学生熟练运用本单元所学词汇,词组和句型组织语言.合理架构文章。
3. 引导学生运用过程性写作方法来写文章。
难点:引导学生学习过程性写作方法,并用此方法进行写作。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
Guide Ss to work in groups of four and describe one of their best friends to the group members.
【设计意图】通过小组讨论的形式,引出本节课的写作话题,同时活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2 Pre-writing
1. Guide Ss to have a brainstorm and think about the words used to describe their best friends.
【设计意图】通过头脑风暴引导学生考虑写哪些方面帮助学生拓展思维,理清思路。同时引出本节课的重点词汇。
2. Help Ss to learn new words through pictures.
【设计意图】通过图片的形式,带领学生学习本节课的重点词汇。
3. Guide Ss to read the article and answer four questions.
(1) Who is Daniel’s best friend?
(2) What does she look like?
(3) What’s she like?
(4) What would she like to be when she grows up?
【设计意图】引导学生带着问题读文章,帮助学生掌握文章的重点信息。
4. Guide Ss to read again and think about what each paragraph talks about.
5. Guide Ss to summarize how to organize ideas when writing about their best friends.
【设计意图】引导学生梳理文章的段落结构,再通过范文总结出话题写作的框架。为下一环节的写作做好准备。
6. Guide Ss to think about how to make their writings better and introduce the process of writing.
【设计意图】将过程性写作的步骤和内容介绍给学生,促进学习策略的发展,提升写作能力。
7. Guide Ss to choose a writing topic and make a chart to collect writing details.
【设计意图】引导学生明确写作话题,同时通过表格的形式梳理写作细节,为接下来的篇章写作做准备。
Step 3 While-writing
Guide Ss to write a passage of introducing their best friends.
【设计意图】通过写,锻炼学生的语言输出能力。
Step 4 Post-writing
1. Guide Ss to evaluate their writings in groups.
【设计意图】通过组内互评的形式,培养学生发现问题的能力,同时也提醒学生注意在自己的写作中吸取别人的长处。
2. Invite Ss to check the article for punctuation, capitalization, grammar error and spelling.
【设计意图】通过引导学生对范例进行修改,使学生意识到。写后的修改是提升作文水平和学生写作能力的必有环节。好作文都是修改出来的。
3. Guide Ss to show the final copy and give two tips.
(1) use their best handwriting
(2) indent the first line of each paragraph.
【设计意图】为学生写作做好展示的准备,是巩固学习成果,提供学习资源,体验学习成功的必有环节。这大大的激发了学生的学习兴趣和写作兴趣,有助于保持学习。
Step 5 Summary
Summarize what they’ve learnt today.
Step 6 Homework
1. Perfect their articles.
2. Recite the passage in the textbook.
3. Summarize what they’ve learned in Unit 1 in their notebooks.
【设计意图】通过润色作文,帮助学生提高写作水平。通过背诵,帮助学生积累写作素材。 通过总结,回顾本单元所学。
