Do you know Wei Dongyi, a celebrity(名人) on the Internet? While he’s talking in an interview video, he holds a bottle of water and carries a food bag with 3 or 4 steamed buns(馒头) in it. Months ago, a company (公司) in Japan showed people its new flying car, the SD-03. The small car flew around for a few minutes.

There was a difference between this test flight and other flights--there was a driver in the car. A worker of the company said, “Of the world's more than 100 flying car projects (项目), only a few of cars are able to fly with a person in them."

Many companies around the world are working to make flying cars. And many scientists agree with the idea and hope that in the future, they will be useful for short trips like taxi rides in cities. Flying cars can also save time and reach places that can't be reached through roads.
