James Brown was ten years old when his parents sent him to school. It was not far from his home, so they sent him by himself.

After the 2022 Spring Festival Gala, dance-poem drama Thousands of Miles of Mountains and Rivers became widely known. The drama is based on the 900-year-old Chinese painting Thousands of Miles of Mountains and Rivers. When Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu (712-770) wrote this poem, he was living in Chengdu. Sometimes he went to farm in the field. The poem shows his care for farmers.

Poverty (贫困) is a big problem around the world. But China has done a good job of dealing with it and it has found its own way to fight poverty. Zhang Guimei has been helping girls pursue (追求) education since she traveled to Yunnan at the age of 17. After traveling more than seven months in space, Tianwen 1 is one step closer to Mars! Tianwen 1, China’s first Mars probe, successfully entered Mars orbit (轨道) in February, according to the China National Space Administration (CNSA). It will stay in orbit for about three months before landing on the red planet.
A small step on the red planet will be a big step for human beings. Humans have launched 46 Mars exploration missions since October 1960, but only 19 of them have been successful, according to China Daily. It’s China’s first spacecraft to Mars, and the missions are rather ambitious. Tianwen 1 aims to achieve “orbiting, landing, and roving (环绕，着陆，巡视)” all in one journey, which will make the country the world’s first to achieve all three goals with one probe, mission scientists said.

While Earth seems to be a lively and surprising oasis（绿洲）of life，it also seems dangerous and small when hit by a dropping of hundred billions of stars．
