设计说明

首先图片展示时尚秀的基本信息，再用和时尚有关的人物展示新授的重点单词和短语，在完成了新授单词的教学以后，利用课本的练习加以巩固。其次，对课文的结构进行分析，并完成相应的不同的阅读任务。最后就课文中的语言点进行讲解，以强化学生对语言知识的理解。

教学目标

通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标：

1.知识目标

掌握词汇：lady, gentleman, purple, grey, jeans, style, comfortable, popular, among, smart, cool, cotton, scarf, both, both…and…, be made of。

2.能力目标

(1)掌握服装和描述服装的相关词汇；读懂并理解课文内容。

Step 1 Warming up

Present some pictures of a fashion show. Tell the students some related details about the fashion show:

Ladies and gentlemen show us their clothes.

We can enjoy different styles of clothes and shoes.

Step 2 Presentation  

1. Present some popular characters in different clothes styles to teach students the new words: trainers, be popular among, light, comfortable, boots, both…and…, be made of, scarf/scarves, silk, wool, leather, etc.

2. Fill in the blanks according to the pictures on page 96.

Step 3 Pre-reading

1. Present the new words and expressions.

2. Let the students add captions to the photos in Part B3.

1. be going to结构

 be going to是一般将来时的一种表达形式,表示将来某个时间将要发生的动作或存在的状态,意为“打算,将要”。常跟表示将来的时间状语,如 tomorrow, this evening, next week, next month等连用。 其中be根据主语的人称和数有is, am, are的形式。to是不定式符号。

I am going to buy something tomorrow morning.

明天早上我要去买东西。

2. popular 形容词,意为“流行的;受欢迎的”。

be popular with 意为“受……欢迎”。

Sports like football and basketball are also popular in China.

在中国像足球和篮球这样的运动也很受欢迎。

3. among 介词,意为“在……中”。

His two daughters are among them. 他的两个女儿在他们当中。

辨析:among 与 between
