设计说明 首先,通过两个问题引入博物馆的话题,接着,学习本课的生词,为学习新课做好准备。然后,通过听录音选答案、读对话回答问题、读对话找重要的表达并进行翻译等环节来步步递进、层层深入地学习对话,并进行表演。最后,利用看地图描述路线和做练习进一步巩固本课所学内容,达到学以致用的目的。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:museum, hall, famous, boring, war, learn, history, area, gift 接触词汇:painting 短语:learn about 2.能力目标 理解并朗读对话;能够正确指示方位。 3.情感目标 了解博物馆,增强对历史知识的求知欲。 重点难点 1. 重点:掌握本课节新学的词汇; 理解并朗读对话。 2. 难点:能用英语根据地图描述路线。 教学准备 PPT 课件,本课节的有关音频,与生词相关的图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Leading in Get the class to think about the following questions and ask some students to give their answers. Is there a museum in your city? What can you see in the museum? Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach the new words museum, hall, famous, painting, boring, war, learn, history, area and gift.

Correct their mistakes and make sure the students can pronounce the words correctly and understand their meanings. Step 3 Listening and ticking Teacher says: Where are Jenny and Danny going? Get the class to read following the recording together. 2. Act it out in pairs. Step 7 Looking and telling 1. Get the students to look at the map and tell how to get to the War Hall.

This museum has many famous paintings. 这家博物馆拥有很多著名的画。 (1) famous形容词,意为“著名的”。 Mo Yan is a famous Chinese writer.莫言是一位著名的中国作家。 The beach is very famous.这片海滩非常著名。 [拓展] be famous for意为“因……而闻名”。 Hangzhou is famous for tea.杭州因茶而闻名。 (2)painting可数名词,意为“绘画”,通常指用颜料绘的画。 There are many famous paintings in the museum. 这家博物馆里有许多著名的画。 [拓展] paint动词,意为“绘画”。 They boys are painting.他们正在绘画。 [助记] paint + -ing → painting 2. The story is boring.那个故事很无聊。 That is a boring movie.那是一部无聊的电影。 You will not be bored in the museum.在博物馆里你不会感到厌烦。 3. We can learn about the history of war. 我们能够了解战争的历史。 learn about意为“了解到……的消息(情况、信息、事实)”,与learn of意思相近。learn此处作不及动词。 We are happy to learn about the news. 我们获知这个消息很高兴。 [拓展] learn也可用作及物动词,意为“学习”。learn to do sth.意为“学习做某事”。 The children are learning to swim.孩子们正在学习游泳。 4. Pass the 3D Hall, you will see the War Hall on your left. 穿过3D厅,你们将会在左边看到战争厅。 (1) pass动词,意为“经过;路过;通过”。 Walk straight and you will pass a bank.一直向前走,你会路过一家银行。 [拓展] pass动词,意为“传递”,pass sb. sth. = pass sth. to sb. 意为“把某物递给某人”。 Please pass me the book.请把那本书递给我。 (2)on one’s left/ right意为“在某人的左边/右边”,表示方位。 In the picture, Jenny is sitting on my right. 在这张照片中,詹妮坐在我的右边。 Walk along the street and you will find the museum on your left. 沿这条街走,你就会在你的左边找到这个博物馆。 5.
