Lesson6 Danny Is Lost!

一、教材分析

本课选自冀教版小学英语五年级下册Unit 1 Going to Beijing，本单元的主要内容: Going to Beijing 围绕“坐火车去北京旅行”的话题展开。重点学习了“Please don't ....祈使句的否定式，现在进行时的学习，如何表达在火车站及其它场合制止不当行为，如何表达饮食意原，如何表达和描述火车上正在发生的事情等。本课时是第六课，是节故事教学课。前面几课时已经对去火车站、在火车上的表达有了一定的运用和输入对前面的一些主要内容行了复习在此基础上,学生在阅读中，能较快、充分地体会到故事的主旨。

二、学情分析

本班学生有了一定的英语知识基础，具备了一定的逻辑思维能力以及简单的口语表达能力和阅读能力，能借助图片听懂和理解简单的故事。以学生为体的课堂教学，注重学生的参与、互助和体验，在有意义的语言情境中进行交际。教学内容由易到难，从机械训练转向培养学生的综合语言运用能力。力图使学生在学习过程中体验到成功和乐趣。

三、教学目标

教学重点：

（1）学生能听懂和理解这个简单的故事。

（2）学生可以根据故事进行问答。

（3）学生可以向家人复述故事。

教学难点：Act out the story

五、教具准备：PPT，多媒体视频。

1. CLASS OPENING AND REVIEW

Greetings

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

2. NEW CONCEPTS

Step1:

Story time:Danny Is Lost!

Picture1:Who drives them to the train station?

Picture2:What does Li Ming do ?

Picture3:Where is Danny?

Picture4:Danny is here. What is he doing?

Picture5:Do you like these bananas or those bananas?

Picture6:Mr. Li tells Danny not to buy the bananas.

Picture7:Danny runs to the train.

Picture8:Mr. Li says goodbye. The train leaves for Beijing. The trip begins.

Step2:Listen to the story.

(1) Play the audiotape for the story. Everyone sits quietly and follows along.

(2) Play the audiotape for the story again.

(3) Play the tape again, but this time everyone reads together as the tape plays.

(4) Now, ask student to trying to read the story.

Step3: Talk and act
