教学过程

1. Lead in:

Teacher lets students watch a short video and answer: What is the song about?

2. Presentation:

① Teacher leads students to learn the key words about family with the sentence pattern: This is... .

② Teacher shows a picture of David’s family, lets students look and guess:

③ Teacher lets students match the words with the people in the picture in 1a.

④ Teacher lets students listen and circle the words they hear in 1a.

⑤ Teacher lets students listen again and fill in the blanks:

⑥ Teacher asks students to repeat the conversation after the video.

⑦ Students role-play the conversation in 1a and then show themselves in front of the whole class.

⑧ Teacher shows another two family photos, lets students talk about the other people in them. In this way, students can practice their spoken English.
