Teacher lets students watch a short video and answer: What is the song about?
① Teacher leads students to learn the key words about family with the sentence pattern: This is... . ② Teacher shows a picture of David’s family, lets students look and guess:
③ Teacher lets students match the words with the people in the picture in 1a. ④ Teacher lets students listen and circle the words they hear in 1a. ⑤ Teacher lets students listen again and fill in the blanks:
⑥ Teacher asks students to repeat the conversation after the video. ⑦ Students role-play the conversation in 1a and then show themselves in front of the whole class. ⑧ Teacher shows another two family photos, lets students talk about the other people in them. In this way, students can practice their spoken English.
Teacher leads students to summarize the key language pionts in this class.
