It was nw getting dark and he was a lng way frm any place f safety. He knew that he might die that night in the cld temperatures. But Jake kept calm. At hme, Jake watched a lt f TV prgrams abut living in difficult situatins. He remembered the tips frm these prgrams and knew that he shuld build a hle in the snw. He made a hle and pinted it up the hill s the wind culdn’t blw int it. Outside his hle, the temperature drpped t a dangerus -15℃ that night, but inside it Jake was safe frm the cld.
But he had t get dwn the muntain. The TV prgrams always said, “If yu are lst, yu shuld find smene else’s tracks(足迹)thrugh the snw and fllw them.” “I wanted t live my life,” remembers Jake. “S I gt up and fund sme ski tracks and I fllwed thse.” He walked and walked and finally he saw lights. 6. What d yu think f Jake? Give at least ne reasn.
(Did Jake lst ne f his skis after he fell ver when skiing?) Yes, he did.
Jake didn’t lse ne f his skis after he fell ver when skiing, did he? Yes, he did.
“there was n sign f Jake, which made them very wrried”= “Jake was missing”,所以答案是When they gt t the ft f the muntain.
He made a hle in the snw and pinted it up the hill.
原文是“S I gt up and fund sme ski tracks and I fllwed thse”,回答的时候要注意人称变化,所以答案是He fund sme ski tracks and fllwed thse. By fllwing sme tracks.
It tk him nine hurs t return t safety.
Because he culd use what he learned n TV in emergency. 或 Because he still succeeded in slving the prblem althugh he faced a difficult situatin.
