设计说明 本单元借助一些图片场景,教授学生用一般过去时描述自己或他人过去的经历。通过练习进一步巩固所学知识;通过讲解课文让学生在具体情境中进行学习,进一步为后面学习扫清语言障碍。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握单词和短语:play, poem, marry, successful, work, build, on, fire, die, rich, language, around the world, young。 2.能力目标: (1)能用一般过去时描述自己或他人过去的经历; (2)学会写描写人物传记的文章。 3.情感目标: 通过今夕对比,学会珍惜自己所拥有的;通过学习伟人事迹,激发学习热情。 重点难点 重点:使学生理解课文内容。 难点:让学生学会写关于伟人的文章。 教学准备 PPT 课件;有关莎士比亚及其作品的图片;活动1的录音。 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Show some pictures or PPT of William Shakespeare and his works. Ask and answer. Who is he? Can you tell me the name of the following works?
Step 2 Pre-reading Ask the students to work in pairs. Read the passage and decide what William Shakespeare wrote in Activity 1. Check the answers in pairs. Answers: plays, poems Step 3 Listening and reading 1. Listen to the tape. 2. Read the passage by themselves and put the sentences in the correct order on Page 56. Answers: a-f 4 5 3 1 6 2 3. Ask the students to read the passage again and complete the timeline for Shakespeare with the correct form of the words and expressions from the box in Activity 3. Answers: 4. Get the students to work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about Shakespeare. Use the information in Activity 3. 5. Get the students to find out the difficult language points and have a discussion in groups. Share them with the whole class. 6. Read the phrases in the passage and put them into Chinese. William Shakespeare was a famous English writer of plays and poems. 威廉•莎士比亚是英国著名的剧作家和诗人。 play在此作可数名词,意为“戏剧;剧本”。 We all like the TV play. 我们都喜欢这部电视剧。 There will be some good plays on at the theatre. 在这个剧院将上演几部优秀戏剧。 [拓展] play作动词,意为“玩;打球;演奏”。 play games 做游戏 play football 踢足球 play the piano 弹钢琴 2. Let the students write sentences about events in your life using sentences“I was born…”“At the age of…” 3. Ask some of the students share their work with the whole class. 4. Let the students work in pairs. Student A: Show the map to Student B and read your directions. Student B: Mark Student A’s home on the map. Step 7 Homework 1. Read the passage. 2.
