The fire, which is thught t have started frm the 8th flr; spread quickly thrugh the twer blck n Sunday night, leaving peple n the upper flrs trapped.Fears grew that the number f deaths culd reach 5, accrding t figures released by emergency services. Fire engines and ambulances called at 9: 30 p. m, reached the scene within 15 minutes. By this time, the fire had extended t the 15th flr. Firefighters gt the situatin under cntrl arund 11 p. m. There is cncern that the cnstructin cmpany that built the twer blck had nt fllwed fire safety rules.

    Reading news reprts critically It is advisable t remember that jurnalists may have different pririties, which 5 wuld influence hw they reprt an event. Let's take the tw news reprts n the Hendersn Twer Fire as an example. We can see that the first news reprt pays mre attentin t the rescue effrts, while the secnd talks mre abut deaths and injuries. When we read mre than ne reprt, we cme t understand an event in a mre cmprehensive way.
