一、强调句

强调形式			例句
强调句的各种句式	陈述句	It is/was...that/who...	It was in this hotel that I met for the first time.
	一般疑问句	Is/Was it...that/who...?	Was it during the war that he lost his life?
	特殊疑问句	疑问句+is/was it that...?	Where was it that you got the information?
do/does/did+动词原形	强调谓语动词，只用在一般现在时和一般过去时的肯定句中		Do be careful next time, please. She did tell me about her address.

二、省略句

省略形式	说明	例句
状语从句的省略	状语从句的主语和主句的主语一致或从句主语是it，从句中又有be动词时，可将主语和be动词一起省略	While (we were) walking the dog, we were careless and got it loose.
虚拟语气省略if	if的非真实条件句中，可将if省略，把were, should, did置于句首倒装	Were I you, I would seize the change tightly.
习惯表达的省略	if necessary/if possible/why not...?	I’ll ask for your help if (it is) necessary.

三、倒装句

口诀	说明	例句
N	表示否定或半否定意义的词，如no, never, not, little, few, hardly, nowhere, seldom等放在句首时，含该否定词的句子用部分倒装	Little do we know about him.
A	as/though引导让步状语从句时，用形式倒装，将表语、谓语动词、状语置于句首	Tired as he was, he still went on with his work.
O	only修饰状语置于句首时，被该状语修饰的句子用部分倒装	Only in this way can we make progress.
S	so...that...句式中，如果“so+形容词/副词”部分置于句首时，主句用部分倒装	So clever is he that he can work out all the difficult problems.
H	句首是表示方向、地点、时间等词，且句子主语是名词时	Out rushed the children.
I	含有were/should/had的if非真实条件句时，省略连词if，需将were/should/had提前形成部分倒装	Had you come earlier, you would have met him.

四、祈使句

表示命令、建议、请求、禁止、警告、劝告等句子。

形式		例句
肯定	动词原形（+其他成分）	Stand there!
	Let+宾语+动词原形	Let me have a nap.
	Be+过去分词	Be seated, please.
否定	肯定式前加don’t或do not	Don’t be so sure.
否定	Let+宾语+not+动词原形	Let him not stand in the rain.
强调	Do/Never+动词原形	Do tell the truth.
强调	No+(动)名词	No parking!
并列	祈使句，or/and + 一般将来时	Work hard, and you will succeed.
