3. 通过本节课的学习，学生能够和同伴谈论曾经度过的假期旅行，并能正确地使用一般过去时描述自己的假期。

Activity One  Warming up and leading in

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

S: Good morning, Miss Liu.

2. Let’s review

(1)Review the past tense of some verbs.

T: There are some words here, say out the past tense of them and spell the words quickly. For example: is. What’s its past tense word.? And how to spell it?

(2)Review the words.

T: Boys and girls, first let’s review the phrases in groups.

T: Perfect!

3. Say a chant

T: Look, they are talking about their holiday too. Listen carefully and find out: Where did they go? What did they do?

T: Have you got the answers? Now, I ask, you answer. Where did you go? Where did you go?

Ss: I went to the sea for the holiday.

T: Good, what did you do? What did you do?

Ss: I went swimming in the sea.

T: Well done. What did you do? What did you do?

Ss: I went shopping near the sea.

T: Good. Let’s try to say it together.

T: How about the little boy? Work in pairs to ask and answer.

T: Which pair would like to have a try? You two, please.

T: Well done. Did the little boy have a good time for his holiday?

T: Look at the questions here. Can you read and answer?

【设计意图：让学生问Story time 中的相关问题，并由小学生小老师互问互答点评的方式来复习Story time的相关内容，对于这样半自主的复习方式学生会很感兴趣，且会有挑战感。】

T: Good job. Mike and Liu Tao’s holiday was great fun. How about their holiday? What did they do for the holiday? Please ask and answer in your groups. First, look and think. Then, ask and answer one by one. Clear? Go.
