1)当句子的主语是不定式时,系动词后可接不定式作表语, 用于解释主语所描述的行为或说明该行为带来的结果。eg. T g there at this hur was t risk ne's life. T ask him such questins is t imitate him.类似用法还包括一些格言警句。eg. T see is t believe. T hear is t bey.
2)当不定式作表语时,能够担当句子主语的名词比较有限,它们大多用于表示某种情形或状况,包括advice、aim、 ambitin、custm、 business、desire、 difficulty、 duty、 experience、 habit、happiness、hpe、 idea、 intentin、 jb、methd、plan、 principle、 prblem、 purpse、 reasn、risk 、rle、task、thing、wish等。eg. 3)当主语包含定语从句且其先行词为代词all或形容词最高级形式物 the least、the mst时,其后可接“系动词+不定式”作句子的表语。 eg. All he wanted was t be left alne. The least I can expect is t have this day all t myself.4)当不定式作表语时, 句子的主语还可以是what引导的主 语从句。 eg. What I want t d nw is (t) have a rest.
【注意】1. 不定式在作表语时,主语中有d的某种形式时,作表 语的不定式可以省略t。eg. What yu shuld d next is (t) help him with his English. The nly thing he can d nw is (t) give up the plan.
2. 不定式短语t let,t blame,t seek等常用主动形式表达被动的含义。eg. The huse is t let. 房子要出租。 Wh is t blame fr the ppulatin decline f the tigers in that area? 谁应该为那个地方老虎数量的下降负责任? The reasn fr glbal warming is nt far t seek. 全球变暖的原因并不难找。

【写作指导】一、审题定调 本题要求写一则通知,向同学们传达市艺术中心下周末举办中国画展的相关事项。 通知是上级对下级、组织对成员或平行单位之间部署工作、传达事情或召开会议等所使用的应用文。通知可分为两类,即书面通知(written ntice)和口头通知(ral annuncement)。
1. 书面通知是书面的正式公告或布告,写作格式及要求如下:(1)正文上方的正中位置写Ntice或NOTICE;(2)发出通知的人或单位的名称一般写在正文的右上角或右 下角;(3)发出通知的时间常写在正文的左下角(通常可以省略);(4)正文内容:被通知的对象(也可放在正文前)、时间、地点、注意事项和要求等;(5)人称:一般用第三人称;如正文前有称呼语,则用第二人称。(6)时态:常用一般现在时和将来时态。
2. 口头通知用词表达注重口语化,开头往往有称呼语(被通知的对象),如:“Bys and girls” “Ladies and gentlemen ” “ Cmrades and friends”等。也可用提醒听众注意的语句,如“Attentin, please!” “ Yur attentin, please!” “ May I have yur attentin, please?
