    An if sentence has tw parts called clauses. Each clause cntains a verb.
    The clause with if is called cnditinal clause, the ther part is called main clause. The if clause can cme first r secnd, when the if clause is first, there is usually a cmma after it. )
    The verb in the if clause is in the simple present tense. The verb in the ther clause is in the simple future tense. But lk at this sentence, bth verbs are in the same tense, they are bth in the simple present. Wuld yu like t have a guess? Why?
    Sme If sentences: actins have results that will certainly happen, in these sentences, bth verbs are in the same tense, they are simple present.
    Sme If sentences: actins have results that will prbably happen, in these sentences, the verb in the if clause is in the simple present tense. The ther ne is in the simple future tense.

Thus if number six n yur list is ‘ aerplane’, yu can make a little yellw chicks in an aerplane. This will help yu t remember that item six ( = chicks) is ‘aerplanes’.
    The initial letter methd
    Anther methd f remember things is t make up a sentence in which the initial letter f each wrd helps yu t remember a list. Mst British children remember the rder f the clurs in a rainbw by remembering Richard Of Yrk Gave Battle In Vain (referring t Richard III wh died at the battle f Bswrth, 1485) the initial letters in this sentence help yu t remember the clurs red, range, yellw, green, blue, indig, vilet. Students can try this methd themselves, if they need t learn facts in a certain rder.
