教学过程 |
Move our body. Sing a song together. Sense what is “IF”. (PPT 4)
If clause: it contains two sentences. One tells the condition, usually begin with if. The other sentence tells the result under the condition.
- type 0 (PPT 6) When: Facts which are generally true or scientific facts. The condition always has the same result. Condition sentence use present simple tense. In the result sentence, present simple is also used.
T can use the PPT to show examples.
- Type 1 (PPT 8)When: A possible situation in the future. Predicting a likely result in the future (if the condition happens)

- If not and Unless If not = unless Please use example to show how to use.
Let’s read some poem “I caught a fish alive” together. Read and Find Rhyme words. If Ss learned phonics they can spot rhyme very soon. T can use flash card to practice with Ss. Ss have to spot Rhyme by hearing the sound. Then read few part of the poem “IF”. To sense the If clause and the rhyme. Poems are not always serious. Poems can be fun, can be silly. Write a silly poem can also help you to remember new words. Ss can use a song to make their own silly poem. The “down by the bay” song is a very good one.
From a song, we can sense what is condition. We learned the IF clause structure. We discussed how to use IF clause. Compare if clause and Unless. We sense the poem IF. We practice finding rhyme. We tried to make silly poem.
