Ging t a British high schl fr ne year was a very enjyable and exciting experience fr me.I was very happy with the schl hurs in Britain because schl starts arund 9 a．m. and ends abut 330 p．m.This means I culd get up an hur later than usual, as schls in China begin befre 8 a．m.On the first day, all f the new students attended an assembly (晨会) in the schl hall.

I sat next t a girl whse name was Diane.We sn became best friends. During the assembly, the headmaster tld us abut the rules f the schl.He als tld us that the best way t earn respect was t devte urselves t study and achieve high grades.This sunded like my schl in China.I had many teachers in the past year.Mr. Heywd, my class teacher, was very helpful.My favurite teacher was Miss Burke—I lved the lessns that she gave in English Literature.
In ur class there were 28 students.This is abut the average size fr British schls.We had t mve t different classrms fr different classes.We als had different students in sme classes, s it was a struggle fr me t remember all the faces and names.I fund the hmewrk was nt as heavy as what I used t get in my ld schl.Hwever, it was a bit challenging fr me at first because all the hmewrk was in English.
I felt lucky as all my teachers gave me much encuragement and I enjyed all my subjects：English, Histry, English Literature, Cmputer Science, Maths, Science, PE, Art, Cking and French.
