本单元教材以“为别人提供帮助” 为中心话题, 围绕着“能做什么” 进行学习和运用几个常见的句型: The girl culd visit the sick kids in the hspital t cheer them up./The by culd give ut fd at the fd bank./We need t cme up with a plan fr the City Park Clean-Up Day.等,让学生知道你可以做„„在学习过程中,学生在交流中, 能促进师生之间的感情,让学生学会向他人提供帮助。

二、学情分析
八年级的学生已经有了一定的英语基础,学习过新单词后无论是听力练习还是表演都相对简单。他们会利用所学内容复述课文及表演、完成相应题目。学生在活动中学习乐于助人的精神。教学环节的设置结合学生自身的学习特点、英语基础及认知能力。
三、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 掌握这些短语及动词的构成和用法:clean up, cheer, cheer up, give ut, vlunteer, ntice
2) 学会提供帮助的基本句型:
I’d like t wrk utside.
I’ll help t clean up the city parks.
Yu culd give ut fd at the fd bank.
2. 教学难点:
学会提供帮助的基本句型。
四、教学资源
在教学中主要运用PPT软件制作整个课件,课件当中穿插音频和下载的部分视频高效完成学习任务。视频1用来导入课程,吸引学生。视频2过度到2d,重新吸引学生的注意力,效果很好。
