教学过程 | 1.Warm-up Activity 1) Teacher instructs students to complete the question according to the picture shown on TV and give answer based on personal situation.
2.Listen and Chant 1) Teacher asks students two questions regarding to the video they are going to watch. 2) Then, teacher plays the videos. Students answer the question and meanwhile fill in the blanks given. 3) Teacher guides students to chant together.
3.Listen and Read 1) Teacher introduces the background of the dialogues before playing the video. 2) Students answer questions listed on the slide based on their understanding of the text they have listened. 3) Teacher checks answer with students. 4) Then, teacher does close reading of the email, format of writing an email in English is also highlighted. 5) To check students’ learning progress, teacher instructs students to complete few sentences with the references of pictures given on the side.
4.Listen and Repeat 1) Teacher teaches students sounds in the following order: “th and sh”, soft “c”, “z”, “r”, “h”
5.Listen, Say and Sing 1) Teacher guides students to sing the song. 2) Teacher explains the lyrics if necessary.
6.Mime, ask and answer 1) Teacher guides students to complete the dialogues according to the content of pictures and then act the dialogues out with only movements and gestures.
6. Do and Say 1) Based on the information shown on the blackboard, in groups of four or two, students make correct conversations. 2) Students are asked to make their own timetable and based on their timetables they made, they are required to complete the sentences as well. 3) Time will be given to students to present their timetable and their sentences.

教学反思 | Teacher can hold up an sharing exhibition for students to show their individual work in classes of a week. This may encourage them to do their work at their best. |
