Bats are the nly mammals that can fly a great distance, but they have anther ability. Many bats live a very lng time fr an animal their size.

The scientists’ findings suggest that these bats’ cells have the ability t keep and repair their telmeres. This, they said, helps guard against the aging prcess. Based n its bdy size, a bat like the greater muse-eared bat wuld be expected t live fur years. But, these mammals have been fund t live nearly 10 times lnger than that.

    Dear Mr Sctt,
I expect yu may be slightly surprised t receive a letter frm yur next-dr neighbr, but I have t raise a theme that it will be easier fr me t discuss in writing. Yu may have nticed that I have a line f apple trees running alng the fence(栅栏)that separates ur tw gardens. Yu may als have felt happy when yu see yur tw children sitting n yur grass by the fence. And yu may als have nticed that my apple trees bend ver the fence and seem t lk dwn at yur children with interest. It is nly natural that yur children shuld smetimes seem t return that interest. And it is quite legal(合法的)fr them t shw that interest by picking all the apples that hang ver n yur side f the fence. But t tell yu the truth, Mr Sctt, I am tired f seeing yur children, day after day, destry the branches f every ne f my apple trees. And it seems that a war has been fught n ne side f my apple trees. Besides, I am mre tired f waking up n these fine autumn mrnings t find even the apples n MY side f the fence much less in number. I knw this t is the wrk f yur children, since last night I was wken at midnight by the nise they were making when climbing ne f my trees, and (as they may have tld yu) I drve them away.
    Yurs sincerely,
    Becky Aldrin
