教学难点 | Master the usage of the adjectives in the structure “It is +adj.+to do sth ”and know how to translate it in Chinese. |
教学准备 | Teacher preparation: multimedia courseware, textbook recordings Student Preparation: Pre-class preparation |
教学过程 | 1. Lead in Pair work: Students should make some sentences about which season do you like best and what’s the weather like in different seasons? And then introduce some adjectives, such as sunny; snowy and so on. 2. Grammar Using adjectives before nouns (1) By observing some phrases, students should work out the rules that how to use the adjectives before nouns. (2) Finish some exercises. Using adjectives after the verbs to be (1) Make some sentences and know the verbs to be. (2) Teachers should provide some sentences to make students to find out the rules. (3) Students can find out the adjectives and summary grammar B. Adjectives with It is and to + a verb (1) Make students know the true subject and understand the structure “It is +adj to do sth” (2) Make some sentences about this structure. 3. Exercises Students should finish some exercises about these two grammars. 4. Summary and homework The usage of adjectives |
