Using in, n r at with time
We can use the adverbial phrases f time with the simple past tense t shw when smething happened.
Adverbial phrases can g after r befre the main clause.
Where did yu g last week?Did yu have a gd time last night?I went t the cinema with Jack last Mnday.
The wrd last refers t the week, mnth, year, etc. befre the present ne.
We dn’t say ‘last mrning/afternn/evening’, but ‘yesterday mrning/afternn/evening’.
