 教案

一、教学目标：

1. Learn the words: bat, wing, fruits, flowers, crops, plane.

2. Be able to use the sentence “they want to find the way to do …”

3. Understand and tell the story.

二、教学重点：

了解课文大意，并能复述出来。

三、教学难点：

了解故事大意，认识单词，说出蝙蝠的特点。

四、教学用具：

Textbook and tape.

五、教学方法：

Games, reading, action, etc. 

六、教学过程： 

Step 1 Warm-up activity

1. Greeting.

2. Sing an English song we’ve learned together.

Step 2 Presentation & drill

1. Learn to say: bat

T show “a bat” picture and say “Look! What is this? It’s a bat”, help Ss understand the meaning.

Read the sentence after T.

Learn to say: the different function of the bat.

Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss say the words.

Open the book, listen to the tape and read after it.

2. Lead-in. T shows the picture of different function of bats. T says and helps students understand the meaning. Read the sentence after teacher.

3. Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss tell the story.

4. Open the book, listen to the tape and read after it.

Step 3 Practise

1. A game—— A little actor.

T shows the picture of different function of bat. Ss say and act.

Step 4 Consolidation

Homework: listen to the tape and read it.
