教案
一、教学目标:
1. Learn the words: owl, tail, mice, rabbit, beak, squirrel.
2. Being able to use the sentence “…are different in many ways”
3. Understand and tell the story.
二、教学重点:
了解课文大意,并能复述出来。
三、教学难点:
了解故事大意,认识单词,说出猫头鹰的特点。
四、教学用具:
Textbook and tape.
五、教学方法:
Games, reading, action, etc.
六、教学过程:
Step 1 Warm-up activity
1. Greeting.
2. Sing an English song we’ve learned together.
Step 2 Presentation & drill
1. Learn to say: a bird
T show “a owl” picture and say “Look! What is this? It’s a owl”, help Ss understand the meaning.
Read the sentence after T.
Learn to say: the different function of the owl.
Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss say the words.
Open the book, listen to the tape and read after it.
2. Lead-in. T shows the picture of different function of owl. T says and helps students understand the meaning. Read the sentence after teacher.
3. Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss tell the story.
4. Open the book, listen to the tape and read after it.
Step 3 Practise
1. A game—— A little actor.
T shows the picture of different function of owl. Ss say and act.
Step 4 Consolidation
Homework: listen to the tape and read it.
