Step1 Warming up Greetings and free talk Hello,boys and girls! I can sing the song, Head, shoulders. Can you sing the song? Let’s sing together. I can run / draw / dance / read What about you ?Let’s clap your hands, jump up high ,stretch... (用学生熟悉的动词边说边做动作,创造学习英语的氛围,引导学生说I can...) Step2. Presentation 1) Free Talk 引出课题 I can do many many things sing ,dance ,swim ,play computer games and do many sports in our free time .This lesson we’ll learn about free time activities. (板书) (师生互动的问答吸引了学生的注意力,同时引出了课题,教师揭题、板书并带读) 2) Teach the new words: football, basketball,piano, kite, ride, fly 操练:play football / basketball , play the piano / guitar , ride a horse fly a kite, 升调、降调、小组,高低声读单词。 Then say more sentences using“I can /can’t...” 3)CAI 呈现球类运动和弹奏乐器短语不同(乐器类单词前加the ,球类单词前不加the)并练习: 1. I can play the guitar 2.Mike can play football. 3.I can’t play the violin(小提琴) 4.He can play volleyball.(排球) 5.Ann can’t play table tennis. 4) CAI 直观呈现其他单词stand on your/his/her/my head 运用A chant突破难点: I, I , I can stand on my head. You,you ,you can stand on your head. He, he, he can stand on his head. She, she, she can stand on her head.
Step3. Practice 1) Listen, point and read with the pupils. 2) What’s missing? 3) Make a survey, using “... can / can’t...” to report. 4) Ask the pupils to write a report. Step 4 Consolidation Show more Exx. Homework Read and write the phrases.
