If you can get to the sea or a coastline you may help researchers monitor(跟踪调查)the world's oceans during the Covid-19 pandemic and further on.
More than 1,000 people have already used the eOceans platform, which aims to help researchers gather data(数据) on oceans and ocean ecosystems(生态系统) in real-time. People can take part by downloading the eOceans app on their phones and posting photos taken on the coast or in the ocean, including any animals, people, pollution or even an empty beach.①________.
The app lets people write down observations(观测)as well as upload photos from their phone albums. This information is then linked to your geographical location and is sent to scientists studying in that region.
Covid-19 restrictions(限制)on travel in many countries have made it more difficult for researchers to study coastline, says Christine Ward-Paige,lead scientist at eOceans.②________
“When Covid-19 hit and the world went into different levels of lockdown, we could understand what was happening in the atmosphere or on land,” says Ward-Piage.”But we had no idea what was happening in the ocean.”
Using the data, researchers such as Ward-Piage can remotely monitor(远程监控)how oceans and coastal communities worldwide are getting on, so as to keep an eye on the rapidly changing oceans.③__________
There is already good news. During Australia\'s lockdown, the largest group of turtles in the country's history was discovered early enough by researchers using photos on eOceans. And in Hawaii, data from the app implies that waters get clearer because fewer tourists go to the seaside during the pandemic.④___________
Luckily, researchers have noticed early signs of the negative impacts of the pandemic on the oceans through the app, including a slight increase in pollution from personal protective equipment, as well as pandemic-related interruptions(中断)to the protection of oceans.
After using the platform, volunteers can work with local online teams led by researchers working nearby. People will be able to see the results appear in real-time,so that they know their efforts work and then they play an important part in the data analysis(分析)this way.
66.The eOceans app was created to______
A.reinforce(加强)the Covid-19 restrictions on travel
B. help the public to monitor ocean protections in the world
C.offer an easier and quicker way to contact ocean researchers
D.help researchers gather marine data especially under lockdown
67.To help monitor the world's oceans,you'd better ⑤________
A.download the app on your phone
B.live at the seaside
C.share your personal information
D.become an environmentalist
68.Where should the following sentence be put in the passage?
“They also hope to get data on wildlife discovered along coastlines and information on how people are using these spaces.”
A.①
B.②
C.③
D.④
69. Examples of Australia and Hawaii are used by the writer to prove_______

I was told a car dealership(经销店)in Albuquerque sold six to eight new cars a day and 72% of its first-time visitors returned for a second visit. I was so curious that I walked into Saturn that Friday, a sales manager kindly received me and shared their price reduction activity with me.
On Sunday, when my wife Jane told me it was her fifth anniversary(周年纪念)of being cancer-free, I said nothing because I had forgotten it, and I didn't know what to do to mark this special occasion.
Still not knowing what to do the next day,I did the most impetuous(冲动的)thing I'd ever done in my life-I bought a new Saturn. I explained why I was buying the car and I’d bring Jane in on Wednesday afternoon to pick the car.
The following morning, it dawned on me that Jane always wanted a white car.I called the sales manager and asked if he had anything white. He said he had only one left but he couldn't make sure it'd still be available on Wednesday because they were selling so fast. I said I'd take my chances and asked him to put it in the showroom.
Wednesday came, but something unexpected happened in our family, so it wasn't until Saturday morning when we finally made our way to the Saturn store. When Jane saw that little white Saturn coupe all the way across the showroom floor, she quickly passed a multi-colored sea of cars, sat in it and shouted,”Oh, what a pretty little car! Can I have it?”
“No. Not until our son graduates from college.”I said.
“I'm tired of driving that old Dodge, I want a new car.”
“I promise, just three more semesters and he'll be out.”
Next, as Jane walked around to the front of the car, she let out the shrillest(刺耳的)scream I'd ever heard in 29 years of marriage.
There was a large sign standing alone on the hood of the white Saturn coupe, saying, “Congratulations, Jane. This car is yours. Five years cancer-free.Let's celebrate new life. From Team Saturn' Every employee at Saturn had signed on it.
Jane screamed, collapsed in my arms and cried loudly. I was also in tears. Pointing to the white coupe, Jane cried, “I want this one right here.”
While this conversation was going on, there was no one in the store. The sales manager had arranged(安排)it so that we could share the moment alone. Even so, it was impossible to have a lot of privacy when so many people were standing outside the showroom windows looking in. When Jane collapsed in my arms, I saw everybody outside applaud(鼓掌)and begin to cry.
71.Why did the writer visit the Saturn of Albuquerque that Friday?

The thought of planning and hosting your own party or event can be both exciting and stressful. However, if you have a little know-how,you can plan the party of your dreams.
What Kind Of Event Are You Hosting?
You should first decide what kind of event you want to host. This can be anything from a simple movie night to a fancy dinner party. Remember, the more complex(复杂的)the event, the more work you have to do.
Choose A Theme(主题)
Every party has a theme, whether it be where it will be held, the time of year, or the reason you are having the party in the first place. This theme will serve as the basis of your event, as it will help you determine(决定)the menu and what kind of activities you will have.
Set A Budget(预算)
It's important to have a set budget so you know how much money you have to spend. Check prices on everything you think you will need. Remember to always compare prices so that you know you're getting the best deal.
Once you know about how much you have to spend, you can start buying whatever you need for your event.
Make An Invitation List
After you decide the basics of your party, start making a guest list. You can invite as many or as few as you want, but remember that generally only half the people you invite will be able to attend.
Once you have your list, send out invitations. Depending on the size of your event, you should send out invitations two to six weeks before the event so that everyone has a chance to make room on their calendars.
Make A Menu
The next thing you should consider is the menu. It is one of the most important parts of any event as guests always come with an empty stomach and almost always remember the food afterwards.
First you need to decide how the food will be served. You also need to think about whether you will be making the food or you will have someone else making it for you. After this, you can start planning out what kind of food you will be serving.Try out those recipes you\'ve always wanted to have a go at. Let your imagination run wild.
